What Plumbing Services Do You Offer?

We offer a comprehensive array of plumbing services, which includes:

What Areas Do You Service?

We proudly serve cities in Catawba County, Caldwell County, Burke County, Alexander County, some of Lincoln County and some of Wilkes County. See our About Us page to see the detailed city list.

Do You Charge for Estimates?

Estimates in Hickory are free. We do ask for a $50 Trip Fee for those addresses more than 20 minutes away from our shop location at 1003 19th St. SW, Hickory. Jobs beyond our normal service area may have higher trip fees.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

We accept cash, checks, credit cards, ACH and online payments. Some services may also qualify for financing.

The best way, however, is to complete our online Schedule Now Form and we'll respond quickly.

Do You Offer Same-Day Service?

Yes, we provide same-day plumbing services for most issues. Our availability does depend on how full our schedule is, so same-day response is not guaranteed. Call or text us at 828-324-0500.

What Warranties Do You Offer On Repairs or Installations?

We proudly offer labor warranties for various services we provide, whether on repairs or full installations. They can range from a 30-day labor warranty to a full-year. We provide information for customers to register their fixtures and appliances for  manufacturer warranties.

How Often Should I Have My Plumbing Inpsected?

We recommend a plumbing inspection at least every two years, if not yearly. These inspections are a low-cost investment to prevent future costly repairs or water damage from leaks. Our Plumbing Inspections is a full report, which you will receive a copy of, and only costs $130.

Do you Provide Emergency Plumbing Services?

Currently, we offer same-day service calls. We do not offer after-hours or weekend emergency service at this time.

 

However, if you are a customer of ours and we've recently done work for you, please text or call 828-324-0500 and we will try our best to help in an emergency situation.

Are Your Plumbers Licensed and Insured?

We currently have three licensed plumbers working for our company, and two lead plumbers who have worked more than 7000 hours in the field to qualify them for their North Carolina State Board of Examiners plumbing exam. We have apprentice plumbers on staff as well who work under the mentorship of our licensed plumbers. We encourage and support all our employees to pursue certifications and licensing.

How Much Do You Charge For Plumbing Services?

We pride ourselves for staying fairly and competitively priced, and our customer reviews reflect that.
Most of our services are priced per job, ensuring transparency and no surprises on your bill. Our pricing is a based on a flat-rate system.

Do I Need to Be Home During Service?

Preferably, someone 18 years or older should be present at the time of service. However, with rentals, Airbnb properties or 8 to 5 working customers, that isn't always possible. Our customers can trust us with doorcodes or other arranged access to the property.

Do You Offer Financing Options?

We do offer financing through Inuit CreditKarma. Any financing or loans taken out with Intuit and their funding partners do not involve 3rd Rock Plumbing. We will not have any direct access to your account, funds or information. You will still be responsible for paying us directly.

Do You Guarantee Your Work?

Our work is backed by labor warranties, depending on services provided.  This is an added benefit of our service, and one which puts us ahead of many of our competitors.

Do You Offer Annual Maintenance Plans?

While we do not offer official maintenance plans at the moment, we are working on launching that soon. Currently, we do schedule recurring maintenance visits upon request to service water heaters, filters and more to make customers' lives easier.
